The 1960s were a decade of change in every way. Pop music
reached new heights of popularity, skirts got shorter and people started
thinking about pacifism.
The younger generation began
to realise that they didn't have to be like their parents if they didn't want to
and that they could make their own choices.
How did the older generation feel
about this? Were they all left standing, or did they accept the new trends and
let their children enjoy the new-found freedom?
During the 60s mankind made giant leaps and womankind decided that they weren't going to let men be the best. From Apollo 11 to feminism and hippies, the 60s had a massive amount of changes in social attitudes. The young population said 'make love not war', but what did the older population think?
